GET TO KNOW
DR. KEVIN LILLY

Education: Dr. Lilly graduated from Sioux City North High School in 1985. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education. In 1988, he entered the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 1992. Following graduation, he was accepted into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he gained advanced training in a wide range of treatments.

Professional Memberships and Awards:  Dr. Lilly is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Sioux City Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He formerly served as the president of the Northwest District of the Iowa Dental Association and on several councils for the Iowa Dental Association.

Dr. Kevin Lilly earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2000, only eight years after graduating from dental school. To apply for this award, a dentist must complete over 500 hours of certified continuing education. The second half of the process involved a rigorous examination with questions covering all aspects of dentistry, including the specialty areas. Less than one percent of all dentists earn this award, and most who do have been in practice for well over 15 years.

Community Service:  Alongside the team at Lilly Family Dentistry, Dr. Lilly participates in the many community outreach programs that the practice takes part in. He has partnered with the Gospel Mission of Sioux City, the American Dental Association, and the Iowa Mission of Mercy to provide local residents and families with free dental care and education.

Continuing Education:  Dr. Lilly keeps up with the latest developments in dentistry through his commitment to continuing education. The state of Iowa requires dentists to attend 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Dr. Lilly regularly exceeds this requirement.

Family:  Dr. Kevin Lilly and Dr. Jane Lilly have been happily married since 1992.  They have two sons, Carter born in 1995 and Jake born in 1996.

DR. JANE LILLY

Education: Dr. Jane Lilly graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. During the course of her undergraduate education, she received her certification as an EMT and served as a member of the Illinois Emergency Medical Services on campus. Dr. Lilly attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she earned her DDS degree in 1992. Following graduation, she was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. The purpose of the AEGD program is to achieve advanced training in more complex aspects of dental treatment in order to provide patients with excellent care.

Professional Memberships and Awards:  Dr. Lilly is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Sioux City Dental Society. She has served as a board member on the Council on Legislation and Iowa Dental Political Action Committee of the Iowa Dental Association. Dr. Lilly is also a former president of the Sioux City Dental Society and board member on the Council on Dental Health (1996-1999). During her dental training at the University of Iowa, she earned the Dean’s Award for Excellence four years in a row.

Community Service:  In the past, Lilly Family Dentistry has provided the residents and workers of the Gospel Mission with needed dental care at no cost. The dental office participates in the annual Iowa Mission of Mercy, an event that provides free dental care for hundreds of people in Iowa.

Continuing Education:  Dr. Lilly receives dental continuing education credits well beyond the requirements of the State of Iowa to provide her patients with the best of what dentistry has to offer.

Family:  Married to Dr. Kevin Lilly, Dr. Jane Lily has two wonderful children, Jake and Carter.

DR. JENNY GOTCH

Education:  Dr. Jenny Gotch graduated from South Sioux City High School in 2003.  She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for her undergraduate education.  In 2006, she entered the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and graduated in 2010.  Following graduation, she was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry.  The AEGD program has a strong emphasis on Implant, Cosmetic, and complex dental procedures.  Dr. Gotch enjoys all facets of dentistry and strives to provide gentle treatment to patients of all ages.  With compassionate, individualized patient care, she strives to improve the health of each of her patients while creating beautiful smiles to last a lifetime.

Professional Memberships and Awards: Dr. Gotch is a member of the American Dental Association.  She was selected into the International Association of Student Clinicians in 2009 and presented her research at the American Dental Association Annual Session in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Community Service: Dr. Gotch has participated in the annual Nebraska Mission of Mercy for the past several years, an event that provides free dental care for hundreds of people in Nebraska.  Giving back to the community is something that she enthusiastically believes is important.

Continuing Education: Dr. Gotch believes in lifelong learning, and attends postgraduate courses presenting the latest techniques and procedures so she may deliver the highest quality of dental care to her patients.

Other: Dr. Gotch is excited to return to the Siouxland area and enjoys all the community has to offer. Aside from dentistry, she enjoys traveling, boating, staying active, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
